Fitbit Aria Air Black FB203BK review

On its own, the Fitbit Aria Air is a digital bathroom scale that looks high quality but measures nothing apart from bodyweight. Coupled with the Fitbit app, it feeds quite neatly into your overall Fitbit health stats, however

Sturdy design; Easy to use with a clear digital display; Fitbit app is great

There are cheaper scales with more functionality; No Apple or Google Health compatibility

Fitbit Aria Air Black FB203BK review

Fitbit's Aria Air scale is less than half the price of the Aria 2, but lacks the body fat percentage measurement of the pricier Fitbit scale. If you want a basic scale to sync wirelessly with your Fitbit app, the Aria Air does what you require.

Cheaper than the Aria 2

Only really tells you your weight

Very convenient way to track your weight

I have owned 3 of these since January 2015, they tend to last only 18 months, 6 months longer than their warranty. This is the biggest issue with this version, they have a VERY short life span. The other issue with the first edition is the WiFi setup is very clunky and difficult to do. But once set up the convenience of WiFi networking is fantastic.

Not Worth it

I bought this product a few weeks ago and I'm not too impressed with the purchase. The bluetooth connection is unreliable and the scales only record the weight of the user with time stamps. The scales are of good build quality and design but you could definitely save money and just buy some scales and record your weight on the Fitbit app. I will continue to use these scales but I would not recommend buying these scales unless you're looking to buy a set of scales for this price range.

Clunky

Not a fan of this scale- it didn’t seem to be able to keep up with its functionality. You step on and it says ‘thinking, thinking, thinking’ and takes a long time to process. It also burned thru batteries- it’s supposed to only ‘turn on’ when you step on it but it was on all the time. I ended up throwing it away.

Fitbit Aria Air review

If you're a Fitbit owner looking for a quick and easy way to track your weight, the Fitbit Aria Air is a solid choice. It's well built and extremely simply to use, provided your phone is within Bluetooth range. Just open the app, step aboard, and your weight and BMI will sync automatically. There's no body composition data though, so if you're interested in checking out changes to fat and muscle mass over time, you'll need to look elsewhere. If your needs are simple, though, it's excellent.

Quick Bluetooth syncing; Supports multiple users; Easy to use; Accurate readings;

Doesn't store data; No body composition; Relatively heavy
