We had always had the low end of shredders in the past. I was always getting it jammed. I don't have the time to watch or pay employees to feed the shredder. I ran the shredder for more than 2 hours shredding our back up, from our cheap shredder that gave out last week.

I have a love/hate relationship with this shredder. Love the fact that it is fast and has a large capacity bin. Hate the fact that it does not let you know when the bin is full and it is very difficult to empty and usually makes a grand mess.

In the year since we bought this shredded, I have shredded over 50 bank boxes of files. I faithfully re-oil the shredder each time that I change bags. I started out using the bags that came with the shredder, but quickly changed to much cheaper 30 gallon trash bags.

This shredder is a workhorse that can handle anything that you can throw at it and will work away until you are finished. I was surprised how quiet is is for such a heavy duty machine.

Bought this 3 months ago for work and not dissapointed as tired of buying the cheap ones and always having them jam. I was a little worried spending that much but happy now that I did as I am not always spending time trying to get rid of jams in the cheap ones.

Works great! Multiple sheets of paper, credit cards, staples, un-opened junk mail, flyers, etc. are no problem. Reducing personal or sensitive documents to confetti in a couple of seconds is fun. Very happy with my purchase.

This machine has been a total disappointment in the 18 months I have had it. Shortly after I received it it started behaving erratically. Would turn on by itself and run only for me to notice it a few hours later. Had to turn the power of to circumvent this.

Works like a charm. Remember to oil it every time you empty the basket.

This is a lovely shredder EXCEPT it is not a cross-cut shredder as advertised. It's quiet and powerful, but it doesn't meet the needs of anyone bound by HIPAA.
