FIFA 19 Review

Now I'll start by saying that I'm not a football man, always been a Formula 1 fan, always have and always will however playing this has given me the aspect of being open to different kinds of games that I don't normally play and that is FIFA 19.

Exciting game!

This Xbox game was a gift for my 9 year old grandson. He was thrilled and said it was the best gift (of many) he received.

Hate this game

I will give 0 star if I can. This game keep frozen when I try to play with the Kick Off mode. The kick off mode is the most basic mode which you can just play against CPU or up to 4 players. And it doesn't work. I called support at EA sports. They are blaming the issue to my nintendo switch.

FIFA 19: "Champions League stylings mean casuals will love it while cynics go studs-in on its kneecaps"

The Champions League expands FIFA's exhaustive selection of licences – but thanks to lessons learned last year there's plenty to love out on the pitch, too.

Champions League aside; career mode feels samey; ‘Momentum' still an occasional issue; New physics model often favours the AI

FIFA 19 (Nintendo Switch) Review

Every few years, Electronic Arts mixes up the formula for its flagship sports franchise, FIFA. The company changes how players respond, then it adds in fancy new features, plus it even creates mesmerising experiences.

Fifa 19

The gap between PES and Fifa continues to grow. Fifa 19 comes close to catching PES a few years back in terms of ball handling. Fifa continues to lack in many other areas though. After the long installation I had to deny EA access to spam email me advertisements, and then I had to connect to their...

FIFA 19 review

With its Champions League licence to add to all the others, FIFA 19’s presentation is more authentic than it's ever been. Crowds still look a bit too regimented and player movement can still sometimes be slightly wonky if you really study it, but in terms of translating the sights and sounds of professional football, no other game comes close. The slightly less frantic gameplay might even convince a few PES players to change allegiance, although online play is still overly frenetic. FIFA 19 might not reinvent football games but it’s still a winner – and to most people, that’s all that really matters.

Champions League licence completes the package; Timed Finishing adds another dimension to attacking play; Slick, flowing passing moves are more devastating than ever; Ultimate Team exposed as the money hole it is;

Ultimate Team exposed as the money hole it is; Online play is often too frenetic; Games can easily get scrappy;
