I haven't had it hooked up long enough to give 5 Stars across the board. I didn't have any trouble setting it up but disappointed that I can only scan 4 slides at a time however, if the scans are good it will be worth it. So far, good.

The Epson Perfection V600 scanner is designed for serious amateurs: people who want to scan film and art, remove scratches and dust and save images at very high resolution, and reviews suggest it does all those things well.

Scanning can be slow
Great for everyday use and easy to use for people looking to just scan an image at a time or documents. Do not buy if you want to do some intensive graphic scanning.
Good quality scans, seems to be solidly built and sturdy; The software is simple for scanning and easy to use
Severely limited on depth of scans; With a machine using 32GB of RAM and SSDs for swaps files, you are limited to the depth of scan you can do; You will gt an error that there is not enough memory to scan anything over a low pixel scan

I have several thousand pictures, negatives and slides that I intend to convert int digital images as I have just retired and am under pressure to share lots of them!
I have used other scanners for slides but this scanner is by far the best one. A little slow but get the job done with excellent results. Highly recomend it. Over 1,000 slides scanned and 2,000 more to go.
