I received this as a Christmas gift and upgrading from the industry standard 720p30 webcam most content creators start with I've gotta say the immediate quality difference blew me away. Setup was super simple and had it running in a matter of minutes. The control that you're given with the Camera Hub software is fantastic to get the best quality image for your setup and lighting. The price point if you're between casual and regular streamer compared to going to a DSLR/Capture card setup and well worth it for the ease of use. Overall I can't say enough good things about the camera and if you're looking to upgrade to 1080p camera this would be my go to for any content creators out there.

I upgraded from a 1080p 30fps webcam with no software to help improve or play around with quality. Going from that to the Elgato Facecam was the one of the best upgrades I ever made to my set up solely for the integration in the Elgato Streamdeck and the functionality it brings. What makes this camera extra special is the Facecam software which allows you to change between different shutter speeds and raise or lower the ISO. This camera is truly at the top of the webcam range with all of the features it comes with. Seriously couldn't imagine being without it in my set up now.

I bought this before Christmas as a Christmas present to myself, I had read so many reviews on it and having previously purchased several Elgato products decided to just go for it, so glad I did, it has taken my stream to a whole other level, I’ve always been shy about having a camera on me, but not anymore, As for the software, once installed it is so easy to use, if I, as a grown man approaching 50 can set it up and use it then anyone can, If you are debating about buying this camera or indeed any Elgato products, don’t hesitate just do it, you won’t regret it.

I purchased the Facecam because I want a better webcam than the one I have. I am a content creator and want the best quality for my streams. The elgato Facecam has so many features, it is hard to list my favorite. I love the prime lens and 1080P at 60FPS video capture. I was delighted to share the news alongside Elgato that they were releasing a FaceCam during their event, and honestly it was one of the pieces of hardware that I really wanted from them (alongside the Mic Arm)! It's design is exceptional, but not only that, the Camera Hub (that works seamlessly with the Stream Deck) is truly a blessing. I have used both webcams and mirrorless cameras, and I really feel that the FaceCam is the best of both worlds. There were some lag issues during stream when it originally came out, but recent updates have pretty much fixed this issue and community love the clarity of the video feed. I've yet to fully explore how much I can do with the Stream Deck, so I'm looking forward to doing that and elevating my content! All around, it's a really great webcam.
