I use this for conference calls. The voice clarity is great and no one has mentioned about any background noise. Happy with the product

Back in August we put out some literature on the release of the GSP 300, Sennheiser's newest gaming headset. Rocking a closed back design and boom mic, this gaming headset advertises superior comfort and impressive bass. But at the sweet low price of just $99, is the hype justified?
The GSP 300 is Sennheiser's headset for gamers who want a versatile product that's suitable for music, gaming and chat. It combines a highly respectable build with solid audio quality, but remains lightweight and comfortable over long periods of time.
Great for music and games; Large adjustable volume dial; Comfortable to wear; Excellent microphone quality
High notes can get a little sharp; Only one set of earpads provided; Microphone is non-detachable
Easy to set up. Comfortable wearing. Mic works well with no breath sound. Overall sound a little disappointing, could have used some more bass, but this might be the game I'm playing rather thanh the headphones. Overall pretty good
I absolutely love products like the Sennheiser GSP 301. It's a simple, no-nonsense kind of a headset that tries - and succeeds - to be as good as possible for the sole job it was made for.
Great audio performance; both for music and serious gaming; Excellent microphone; Exceptional comfort; Practical; built-in volume dial; Good build quality; Microphone can be muted by pivoting it upward; Replaceable ear cushions
One could expect more luxurious materials for the price; A detachable microphone would make it much more usable on-the-go
great price/quality ratio
Overall, this is a great headset. What made it stand out for me is it's microphone. I looked at a few others before purchasing this one, and this was second to none. The mic is clear, people will easily understand what you say.
- High quality audio; Games and music sound really great with this headset - Crystal clear microphone; Friends and teammates will have no trouble hearing and understanding you; Flip up to mute is a nice feature and comes in handy - Very light weight, and comfortable.
- Doesn't have 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound, so it's not the best for shooters if you rely on surround sound; (The Sennheiser GSP 350 model has surround sound - Not the shortest cord, but not the longest either; You won't be able to get up and move around in your room too much with this cord length

Awesome gaming headset, the best one I have ever used and I have had more expensive ones before. It picks up the voice very well and it sounds natural.
Been using this for my PS4, Switch and PC gaming - incredible sound quality and super comfy, I even watch Netflix with it!
