We've put the Dyson Corrale to test on our hair. Here's what we thought of this cordless Dyson hair straightener...

Dyson usually gets it right, especially with airflow-based gadgets. But the Dyson Corrale is one of the few non-airflow-y products that they’ve launched. It also boasts three big things: it uses less heat, it is cordless, and it has flexi-plates that’s meant to grasp your hair better.

Saves lots of time. Can double as a curling iron. Works on all hair types (though results may vary). Heats up quickly.

Expensive AF. Depending on your hair, you may still end up having to do multiple passes.

It's the flat iron of the future—if you can afford it.

Flexing plates straighten hair better. Helpful screen. Lower heat options mean less damage to hair. Curls well. Cordless.

Expensive. Short battery life. Magnetic charging cord can sometimes disconnect.

If your budget allows, your hair will love you for buying the Corrale. Cordless is great for quick styling, and while big and heavy by design, you can straighten or curl in about half the time with this straightener.

The Dyson Corrale is beautifully made, effective and can be used corded or cordless. But it costs twice as much as competing products and the results it gives aren't jaw-droppingly different.
