This device gives a professional quality to my photographs/videos that I haven't been able to produce previously. I am an older amateur user who likes sharing with a small group of Instagram followers the places I see in my daily life and on holidays. I love capturing flora and fauna, architecture and interior design. Quite often this means taking rushed photos/videos because I am with some else or with a group and can't hold them up by making sure I am holding the phone steady. With this device I can take stable shots while on the move. At other times I have found the wind so strong that the phone is difficult to stabilise. This device solves all those problems for me. I found it a little confusing to set up because the instructions didn't specifically show the step connecting the phone to the device. I had to get younger, more tech savvy people to do it for me. They did it in an instant of course. I had assumed I need to connect with a cable.

The DJI Pocket 2 may not be perfect, but it’s better than anything else on the market at what it does – namely, being a compact vlogging camera. In its pricier Creator Combo package, the inclusion of a wireless mic and other core tools for video production is fantastic, and the bump up in sensor size over its predecessor is similarly welcome. Where it also comes into its own is with object tracking, specifically for vloggers walking and talking around a space. Ultimately, it’s a fantastic imaging tool that can slot into a videographer or vlogger’s workflow nicely.
