The DJI Mavic Air is an incredible drone: packed with features, easy to fly all wrapped up in a fantastically compact package

Battery life not the best

I bought the drone about a month ago and its been great. Just for background I have also owned a Mavic Pro and Phantom 3. Range: Range is still great, not as solid as Mavic Pro but strongh enough to fly in urban melbourne Camera: Camera on this drone is honestly in my opinion great, actually better...

Not as powerful or fast as the air 2s, but lighter and so legal in more places. Otherwise they're exactly the same feature wise. If you're flying in windier conditions, you may need the extra weight and power, but otherwise this is the drone for you.

Drones like the new DJI Mavic Air are the Marmite of the tech world. On the one hand, they’re a high-level demonstration of how amazing modern technology has become, combining miniaturisation with powerful processing and advancements in digital cameras in one incredible flying machine.

A lot of people have been asking me … why would I want to buy the Mavic Air when I can just buy the Mavic Pro. While others have voice their concerns, and wondered why DJI would want to cannibalize its own consumer drone business, with many different drones (of similar function and features).

Compact and light-weight, Super easy to control, 4K recording, 3-axis gimbal, Smartcapture (hand gesture), 21 minutes flight time, Same coverage (range and distance) as Mavic Pro

Pricey

Ever since DJI released their brand new Mavic Air model, it seems as though Spark and Mavic Pro went to the never-never-land . Their sales have been steadily dropping over the course of the last couple of months, all whilst DJI Mavic Air has been making quite the havoc out there.
