D-Link have expanded their Covr range with the release of the COVR-2202 High-Powered Tri-Band Seamless Wi-Fi Mesh System. Similar to the COVR-C1203 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Mesh System, the new device also offers a scalable, mesh Wi-Fi.

D-Link COVR-2202 Smart Mesh Wi-Fi System - 2 Pack, Pre-paired, MU-MIMO, Tri-Band AC2200, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet Port on each Mesh Router/Point, Cover up to 560 sqm

If you don't have any other network in place the quick start will get you running. If you need anything else, it is tricky. The manual is not that great but the options are more or less the same as any router.

D-Link COVR 2202 Tri-Band WiFi Mesh System

A while back we took a look at D-Link's first foray into mesh networking and were left impressed with the performance. Since then many competitors have upped their game and so too has D-Link. Recently they sent over the D-Link COVR 2202 which is an AC2200 Tri-band mesh network.

» Solid mesh performance; » Dedicated backhaul; » DFS enabled; » Great warranty; » Includes McAfee LiveSafe

» Too many apps; » Need better feedback on dedicated backhaul strength
