My family loves this ice cream machine! We eat ice cream all the time. It gets expensive when you buy it so often. We thought it would be great to make our own, and also try to make it healthier, -maybe less fat, maybe less sugar. We are still experimenting with different recipes.

I bought this machine two years ago and used it less than 10 times and only with vanilla and chocolate. It got progressively louder and on my last batch stopped churning the ice cream.

We bought this because the less expensive ones did not work for us, (the bucket never got cold enough.) this unit takes 25 to 35 min for regular ice cream and an hour + for the ice creams with liquor added.

I have only had this for a week, but have already made 5 different kinds of ice cream. It is soooooo easy to use! Expensive? YES! But considering what some people pay for a Kitchen Aide mixer, not so much. It makes the best ice cream and YOU can control the ingredients that you want in it.
