Best sounding speakers ive owned.

I got a hold of these speakers for space saving reasons as I was packing away my creative 7.1 speaker system. At first I was worried about the volume and bass, but these speakers have ALOT of volume and a fair amount of bass for a set without a sub.

Do you need to get big speakers to be able to listen to music? Do you want to drag around speakers that are 4 feet tall? If not maybe tonights review could be something for you. We got a set of Creatives latest creation named T40 to test.

Creative GigaWorks T40 PC Multimedia Speakers

The Creative GigaWorks T40 is a good choice for those looking for larger than average size and sound in their PC speakers.

Stylish mini-tallboy PC speaker with high-quality dual midrange drivers; easy access to volume, treble, and bass controls; headphone jack; provisions for optional iPod dock

May be too tall for some tastes; rear power switch and overly bright power light mar an otherwise slick design; no option to add subwoofer

Creative Gigaworks T40 review

We're big fans of the Gigaworks T20 speaker set, and very familiar with it, so it was amusing when the T40 arrived having sprouted an extra midrange cone on each speaker, like some kind of sonic mutant. And, as with the T20, the midrange is definitely where this set excels.

Not too bad

Well overall these speakers are ok but for the price (I paid about $140) you'd expect more out of them. I like to play it loud and these speakers can't really do that unless you want loud distorted sound.

Decent sound reproduction; Nice design; Simple setup

Only like 28 watts or something; For over $100 these speakers should perform very well..; but don't; They are a bit large

Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II Speakers, 2 channel, Power Rating: 32W RMS, Speaker Power: 16W RMS per channel (2 Channels) , Headphone-out, Aux In

These have really excellent sound! They are very impressive for their size! While they are expensive I think they are excellent value. Probably a case of you get what you pay for.

Creative GigaWorks T40 PC Multimedia Speakers

Creative offers an impressively wide range of PC, iPod, and multimedia speakers--at least 20, by our count. But we were drawn to the company's GigaWorks T40, a set of unusually tall (12.5 inches) stereo PC speakers that retail for less than $150.
