Not long ago, we took a look at our first RM series unit from Corsair, the RM650. Today, we'll be looking at big brother - the 850 watt model. This is a unit that bears very little in common with its smaller sibling, as it is a completely different platform from a completely different OEM.

Absolutely love the fully modular version and how I went from having what seemed like a hundred cable leads that I balled up in the bottom of my case to just what I actually needed. Much cleaner look, the cable skins are nicely done.

5 star; I only regret buying the 850W as I should have saved a bit more to buy the 1000W instead. However, this PSU handles the following watt-eating hardware withouth a single hiccup: 2 optical drives 2 hard drives at 5400RPM 1 SSD 1 AMD FX-9590 (with a 220W TDP) at 5gHz, overclocked to a "stable"...

Have had this now in my computer at 2V and can not complain about anything. + quiet + lightly and pull cables A little pricey but worth the price.
