Good inexpensive mouse

I got this to replace a wireless mouse because it wasn't qute responsive enough during gaming. This one seemed to fit the bill without being too expensive.

Corsair Vengeance M65 gaming mouse

A quality gaming mouse, with an accurate and smooth-running laser sensor, if a little light on extra features.

very nice mouse! the two things that i dont like about it is the fact that it is kind of small for my hand and that the scroll wheel is very stiff for clicking down with.

The first mouse to the game computer, bought this as it felt more comfortable than other mice like Razer Deathadder, Steelseries Sensei and Steelseries Rival. It went for 349 then. Does not regret my purchase. + Comfortable, is almost perfect in your hand. + Good grip and glide.

Corsair Vengeance M65 Review

Perhaps more than any other genre, first-person shooters (FPS) reward accuracy and swiftly punish imprecision. Even gamers blessed with the most cat-like of reflexes know that you can only go so far without the right weaponry in your arsenal. Enter the Corsair Vengeance M65 ($69.99 list), an updated version of the excellent Corsair Vengeance M60  that retains the former’s wicked design while upping the laser sensitivity to 8,200dpi. With a dedicated sniper button that instantly lowers the DPI on the fly and on-board profile storage, it's a great choice for first person enthusiasts and our newest Editors' Choice for gaming mice. Design and FeaturesA contoured aluminum unibody forms the core of the M65's design. Three plastic pieces partially cover it in a way that allows its metallic frame to be slightly visible through an opening in the rear. This creates a futuristic look that nonetheless maintains an elegant simplicity that stands in contrast to the LED-covered surface seen on ...

With its highly accurate tracking, dedicated sniper button, and overall killer design, the Corsair Vengeance M65 is a fine addition to any first-person-shooter enthusiast's arsenal.

Futuristic design; Very comfortable to hold; Nicely oversized scroll wheel

No wireless option; Not as configurable as other gaming mice; Lefties get no love; Control panel software is Windows-only

Good mouse, but serious issues

I bought this mouse just before Christmas. It worked fine for a few weeks, till the problems came. First issue, it was registering phantom left clicks. On same games this led to the games being near un-playable. Once that issue was resolved came the equally annoying and more frustating one. It took me a while to notice, but when left clicking on various things not just ingame, the mouse didnt register the click. I thought it was my imagination, a quick google search led me to others sharing the same issue. It is either a hardware or firmware issue but I cant recommend this mouse. Im currently in talks with Corsair, hopefully to get a replacement or a different mouse.

Great Features!

I bought this around a month ago now and I am amazed with the overall quality! I love the sniper button and the extra programmable buttons. The RGB lighting also gives the mouse an extra flair to it.

Avoid unless you like random clicks and missclicks

So i purchased this mouse in Nov during the black Friday sales. By early Feb i needed to return it for a replacement because the left and right clicks would randomly click either multiple times purchasing multiple items from the store during a game of dota. While other times it would not register a click at all. After getting a replacement this time lasting from feb to late aug i thought i was in the clear only to have the exact same thing happen again!!! After searching for reviews online found many other user's experience this same issue so it seams to be a common flaw with this model of mouse and i highly recommend avoiding it at all costs i also read that this was an issue with the previous m65 pro model but i hopes they fixed the issue with the m65 elite model but it seams they haven't

Flawed mechanical design

Owned the mouse for about 2 months now, a few days ago my left click and middle mouse button would randomly not register despite having a mechanical 'click' feedback. After a quick google search I found this is a common issue.
