Solid performing but lacks any visual appeal

This is one of those parts where it is function over form. This is just a solid working piece of RAM without the visual appeal. I say that because it simply has a generic looking heat spreader. Nothing to show off in a day where clear side panel cases has become the norm.

-aluminum heat spreaders provide efficient heat dissipation -low profile heat spreader design is perfect for small cases and mini-itx setups -DDR4 DRAM 3200 MHz -XMP 2.0 profiles for automatic timing and speed profile in BIOS -Black or red colors available; paint coating was flawless (Blue not...

-basic heat spreader design is unappealing -designed and marketed for intel X99 motherboards -price difference in red and black colors ($5 difference) -priced at $99.99 has gone up

Works on Dell Inspirion N5010 Laptop

Installed in to a Dell Inspirion N5010 laptop - Dell model only allowed up to 8GB on both slots (each slot can hold 4 GB). On other websites, the incorrect speed was listed (1600) and blue screen of death appeared. These 1333 speed worked perfect.

Great ram

This is your standard 3200 MHz DDR4 ram. It operates as expected, but be sure to check your BIOS settings to make sure it's clocked at 3200 MHz to squeeze out all the performance you can!

Nice little upgrade

Upgraded for a Mid-2010 13" MBP. Sadly doesn't plug and play as the 2010 doesn't support 1333. I had to decrease the frequency to make it compatible. Other than that hassle, it greatly improves the MBP's performance no doubt.

It Works

Highly Recommended for Early 2011 Macbook Pros. Especially if you use MacOSX 10.7 (Lion). Lion appears to use 2GB idle, therefore it makes sense to run 8GB. As of this post, this RAM is going for $70 CDN. This is a great price even when not on sale.

Confirming what "James" from Edmonton reported..; it works in the Early 2011 17" Macbook Pro; It stands to reason it will work with any Macbook Pros of that generation, , Great price

None so far; If I ever have stability issues with it, I will post another review

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3200

The memory guys are banking on today's launch of the Intel Skylake platform to be a catalyst for increased exposure and sales. If you don't know, the Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K processors can make use of DDR4 memory in dual-channel mode.

Excellent build quality; Works flawlessly at 3,200MHz; Available in multiple colours

Small gains in performance; Limited overclocking headroom; Would prefer 2x8GB sticks

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3200

Following last year's price drops, is DDR4-3200 finally a good value? Corsair's Vengeance LPX helps us figure that out. We've watched DDR4 prices drop last year to the point that at 2133MHz data rate, a 16GB kit (4x 4GB) of DDR4 costs only $10 more than DDR3.

Top performance; High DDR4-3200 rating; Two included cooling fans that reduce both motherboard and DRAM temperatures

Limited overclockability at 1.35V; Included fans add to the total price
