Prints absolutely stunning pictures. Couldn't have asked for more for pictures up to 13x19".

This works well enough for home printing. I still have a lot to learn on it, though. The Image Garden is very limited, and I wish it had more features.

It wont turn on

With the Pro-100, Canon has expanded its Pro printer lineup by cross-breeding the Pro-1 and the Pro9000 Mark II. From the Pro-1 we get the improved media handling and CD/DVD printing as well as a three-ink black and white printing option, although not the same inks.

The Canon Pixma Pro-100 is the entry-level model in Canon's Pro range of A3+ printers, aimed at semi-professional and professional photographers and printers. It uses the same ChromaLife 100 inks as many of Canon's smaller A4 inkjet printers and MFPs, which have always done well in our photo quality...

This A3+ printer uses eight dye-ink cartridges, including three black and grey inks for better monochrome printing. Canon's ChromaLife 100 inks have a claimed life expectancy of 100 years or more. The print resolution is 4800X2400, reproducing very fine detail.

The Canon Pixma Pro-100 prints fully pro-quality photos but costs hundreds of dollars less than a true professional grade photo inkjet printer. The Pro-100 prints up to 13 by 19 inches, with eight separate inks for impressive black-and-white and color photos.
