I bought this and did LOADS of online research on print quality first and wanted one that DUPLEX scans. Units awesome and can print from mobile devices and cloud even direct from dropbox without your PC.

the Canon MB5460 holds two trays of peparer which is important for my use. Its large ink tanks save a lot of money compared to other cheaper Canon printers so it ends up being cheaper.

Title says it all, when you finally get it to print it looks outstanding. The ink handling is a pain in the arse. It constantly needs to clean itself for 5-8minutes when you are in a hurry! Then halfway through a 30 page print job the black stops, even though it is full. Deep head clean is the only solution, which gets you another 15 pages if you are lucky. On it's second set of inks and has not improved. Printer WILL NOT ALLOW removal of ink cartridges between replacements, which it decides. I've had this printer for a few weeks now. My printer requirements were simple: double-sided printing from a flat tray. The double-sided scan/copy was a bonus. The printer is pretty quick for a home office printer. Scans directly to my PC's pictures folder, which is awesome. No complaints about the print quality, but I'm using it for printing office documents, not art, so I can't speak to it's photo-printing abilities. I really just wanted a good printer for home, but after reading many reviews settled on the Maxify printer after upgrading from an old Canon MP980.
