Canon EOS 6D Mark II

Aimed at photographers who are looking to make their first move into full-frame photography, the Canon EOS 6D Mark II follows on five years after the original 6D made its debut. As you'd expect, it features a range of improvements from its predecessor.

As it should be, the EOS 6D II is a better camera than its predecessor in almost every way. With plenty of resolution, respectable burst shooting speeds and pleasing Canon color, it's a camera that's capable of producing great images in a variety of situations.

Review: Canon EOS 6D Mark II

These giants of the DSLR world, with light-sucking sensors that are the digital equivalent of 35mm format film, certainly have a lot going for them.

The Canon 6D MK2 I have found to be an outstanding camera in terms of image quality and value for money

The Canon 6D MK2 I was originally skeptical about when I first head of this new model but after researching online and being able to see for myself a number of times at Teds store I bought one in November 2017 from Teds and am still very satisfied with after having now taken over 2000 shots

Easy to use; Compact; Build quality; Screen size

So I just picked up this body a few weeks ago for $1299 with grip. I was looking to return to FF after a fews years with Fuji. Fuji has been one of my favorite brands, but after renting a 5D Mark IV for a weekend, I found myself missing the handling of Canon, menu system, ergonomics, and their...

Canon EOS 6D Mark II review

Canon has certainly made the EOS 6D Mark II a more well-rounded and better specified camera than the EOS 6D, but it's not without its issues. These niggles dull what is otherwise a very nice full-frame DSLR that's a pleasure to shoot with.

Excellent Live View focusing; Comfy grip; Refined touchscreen control; Useful vari-angle display; Connectivity options

Only 98% viewfinder coverage; Absence of 4K a disappointment; Limited AF coverage; Poor dynamic range; No USB 3.0

Canon EOS 6D Mark II – Canon's junior full-frame DSLR gets a welcome upgrade

With the recent release of the Canon EOS 6D Mark II, there's a new, junior full-frame DSLR for enthusiasts to get excited about. It positions itself below the EOS 5D Mark IV and above the EOS 7D Mark II, entering the market with a price of £1999.99 (body only).

Introduces vari-angle touchscreen for the first time on a full-frame EOS model; Superior focusing speed in Live View mode thanks to Dual Pixel AF; Offers 5-axis movie image stabilisation; Excellent battery life

Lacks 4K video and headphone port for audio monitoring; Upgraders can't use existing battery grip; AF points all grouped together centrally in the frame; Difficult to use exposure compensation with Auto ISO in manual mode

First full frame camera

This camera was an upgrade to a full frame camera from my previous cropped sensor Canon EOS600D. The 6D mk11 offers a significant improvement in technology and functionality. Easy to obtain great results with semi automatic modes and plenty of creative modes that can be customized by the more...
