This is a sweet and smooth lens in use; Auto focus is fast enough and the feel of zoom and focus controls is good; It is light enough to carry around without getting a pain in the neck, yet not so light that there are worries about durability

There is slight barrel distortion at the wide end – nothing to worry about in field use – and slightly more pincushion at the 300mm end; It is easy enough to correct in Photoshop

Great Lens would love a more expensive one f2 is usm ..but this is great very good lens for the money

A bit too expensive than its tamron counterpart but they differ in quality. Amazing picture quality is given by this lens. Perfect zoom and sharp and fast focus. A nice lens to buy.

Is it compatible for canon eos 1200d?

The worlds best 70-300. This lens is amazing and will not let you down. Perfect for full frame or crop sensor Canon DSLRs. Great focal range for field sports such as rugby, soccer etc. The AF and stabilizer are awesome.

The lens works very good when you have good light. On lower light you'll see some of the sharpness fade, its good for bright light and can't beat the price of the L lens.

Excellent for mid range photography. Annoying noise on autofocus reflecting in video mode.
