"Must have to add to your collection"

Great campaign, a lot longer than previous call of duty games, My main reason for buying was for the Multiplayer experience, Great selection of weapons and perks with a wide range of custom builds to suit your game play.

Call of Duty's return to World War II looks great, but feels flat and uninspired from start to finish.

Third time is a charm

Third time is a charm Maybe their would be an outcry if say, Sledgehammer put a waterpark level into a historically-centric shooter, but I think they could make it work (how about a troupe stumbles across one).

I mean......it's still Call of Duty just with a different skin pack. Only reason I think COD still works is because of Zombies, but that's just me. Multiplayer hasn't really been worth the trouble even for some of you OG COD players. But with Zombies, you can't go wrong with that.

Call of Duty: WWII Review

Overall it is an enjoyable experience, with a solid story line some high energy or tense experiences and straightforward enjoyable combat, though it just doesn't feel in the same league as the best in the Call of Duty series

Call of Duty: WWII review

WWII is a throwback to a time before developers felt the need to cram a raft of extra features into their game. Only, everything outside the gameplay is still very much adorned with the menus, unlocks, loot boxes, and Nazi zombies you’d expect from a modern CoD. Ultimately, CoD WWII is a game that wants to have its grizzled, back-to-basics cake and eat it too. For the most part, it gets away with walking this audacious tightrope. Underneath its ultra-visceral graphical polish is the thrilling spirit of arguably the series’ high point: Call of Duty 2. Clichés and marketing buzzwords be damned, but this really is boots-on-the-ground combat, and it’s terrific fun at that.

Feels great to get back to simpler combat; Looks amazing; Loads of modes to get stuck in with; War mode is fantastic;

Audio glitches on Xbox One X; Still an incredibly high skill ceiling online; Campaign sometimes fail to excite;
