VERY USEFUL TOOL BUT TOO SOON TO REVIEW

This label machine is worth the price. Works well and does batch labels. I just purchased it and Staples wants a review so soon..fine. Will it last years? Is it a quality-made machine? There is no way to know this soon after purchase.

Brother P-touch PT-P750W

The Brother P-touch PT-P750W label printer ($129.99) prints laminated plastic labels, and can handle tapes up to nearly an inch wide. Plus, it can print wirelessly, including from mobile devices, but Brother's mobile app fails to make it as convenient as it should be.

Automatic cutter; Prints laminated plastic labels up to roughly 1-inch wide; Can print over USB, Wi-Fi, and the equivalent of Wi-Fi Direct.

Mobile app is hard to set up; Poor documentation; Needs AC power or batteries, rather than getting power over the USB cable

DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE AND IOS DEVICE

I purchased this label maker because I already have one that is attached to my Windows 10 laptop. I love my IPad Pro so I decided to find a product that would work with that so I could get ride of the Windows Laptop. Haahaaa, joke is on me I guess!

After the setup, it's great!

Had a tough time setting it up (if I had followed the directions it would have been easier), definitely not plug and play ... Now that it's up and running, I love it.

Brother PT-P750W Professional PC Label Printer Wireless

I wasn't convinced to this labelling machine but only until I started using it at work - it is very fast to print and takes 6 different tape widths. The wireless connection works and it's easy to connect a laptop or PC to it via wifi; I also tried printing from my iphone and that's even more handy -...

Great little printer, convenient app based printing

I have had several label printers over the years, including a 7600vp handheld. The issue with the 7600 is it is a little large and cannot be used directly as a computer based printer. That's where this one comes in.

Ideal for our use.

Bought primarily with gardening in mind although I had several other labeling tasks (eg, plugs and cables under computer desks) in mind. This (in conjunction with an Andriod) seemed to offer a more flexible solution than the hand held printers. It meets our needs well.

nice instrument

disappointed on some functionality, like you can not use the wire less when you have normal batteries in that, or some how it is hard to find and install wifi on it but in total it is a very handy tool to have especially the half cut function

Brother P-touch PT-P750W Review

Plus, it can print wirelessly, including from mobile devices, but Brother's mobile app fails to make it as convenient as it should be. The P750W ($126.97 at Amazon) is a step up from the Editors' Choice Brother P-touch PT-P700 ($83.56 at Amazon) , both in terms of features and in price. The key additions are Wi-Fi for connecting the printer to a network, Wireless Direct—Brother's equivalent to Wi-Fi Direct—for connecting directly to a Wi-Fi device without needing a network, and NFC to connect to a compatible phone or tablet simply by touching the device to the printer. It also adds a half-cut capability to the auto-cutter, to cut the label itself, but not the backing. The half-cut option lets you print a single label with a leading tab, and then cut the tab from the label while leaving both on the backing, a trick that makes it much easier and fa...
