would recommend with new tapes. used the TZ series with the older pt-2600 for years... what a great system. however the pt-2600 will not run under win10 of course [waiting for driver that works]. however, if you are just starting out, this should be a real winner.

great label system. Running an Essential Oil Business has it's challenges and a huge obstacle was keeping labels on. This system is awesome because the labels are laminated so the oil doesn't affect the label at all. LOVE it. that's why I bought 6. to give to my down line for Christmas.

Took a little time to get the "length" of label to be length I wanted -- and still do not fully have it down pat. I purchased this label maker for use in my home office. It has a good breadth of versatility for width, length, ability to print as a stand alone label maker, or in conjunction with a computer. Fairly priced, and robustly built. I would definitely recommend this unit.

I think it would be hard to figure out how to do most of the options using the keyboard alone, although it should be easy to do basic labels from the keyboard. I use the Windows software and that is really very good.

Have always used Brother label printers in my work place, bought this for home use, great printer easy to setup and use with PC.

Love my Brothers label maker, now my desk is more organize and files too. Wish finding the tape colour was a lot more easier to find tho.

Pretty good label maker, however: there needs to be a print queue where you can select and store labels before printing. I print small amounts of several labels and each time I print a set of labels the labeler wastes 1" of label adding up to as much as 20" of tape wasted during each print sesson.

Good unit working on power and battery, need more learning to use all function

I'm so glad I bought this model print label machine. It's easy to operate and looks like a miniature typewriter. It comes with a starter roll of tape. I haven't had a chance yet to connect it to my computer but I'll be able to download more fonts and art designs. I'm totally happy with it!
