makes yummy coffee, once you get the hang of it, its a bit full on operating but once u work it all out great coffee, would recommend to buy

We had been looking for an espresso machine for about a year. We bought this one on impulse because it was on sale and half the price of other set ups. It is compact with the grinder built in. It pulls better shots than any place near where I live.

This machine makes exceptional coffee and is very easy to clean and maintain. I cant wait to get out of bed in the mornings and fire up this bad boy. My wife and I bought the same model second hand and over a couple of weeks it developed a boiler leak and shorted out the power.

I bought this a few weeks ago and although it took a bit of time to get the coffee to the standard I wanted it, it was worth the effort. Went through quite a few beans getting the grind and extraction right.

Great machine, heaps of features. Heaps of info and tips in the instruction manual which help a lot. Couldn’t ask for more. Looks great too

Good little machine. You need to be super fiddly with the inbuilt grinder to get the right amount, as it tends to pile up and just go everywhere when set to defaults. I now meausre my beans and only put that amount in the grinder. When using the frother I recommend spraying just into the waste tray for about 10 seconds, otherwise your milk jar will be full of water, not steam. The colour seems be super easy to scratch off, so fingers crossed it doesn't fade too fast...

I have just bought my second Barista Express. Why? you may ask. My old machine of nearly 4 years of great service started playing up, and the thought of being without it whilst being serviced was torturous. Hence a new machine Everything about this machine ticks all the boxes for me:- Built in grinder with ease of dose setting. Good sized easy to fill water tank with in-built filter Simple push button controls, programmable if wanted. Steam and hot water controls Easy to keep clean, with Reminders to clean system and drip tray. Now to enjoy another great coffee!

This is the fourth generation of Breville Espresso maker we have owned as every one has proven to make excellent coffee. This is by far and away the best one, as we still love the more manual operation and experimenting with different beans and grinds. Our old models are still working, we have just been upgrading every five years or so as the parts are relatively interchangeable which we find super handy when shower head seals etc. need replacing. Nicely done.

My wife and I are genuinely happy with this machine. We had a pod machine before this but I've had the top shelf Breville machines at work. I was concerned this machine would be a bit harder or take longer to make coffees but it really isn't and with fresh beans, we are drinking amazing coffee every day now. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is it lacks some great features of the better models like Auto dose and tamp, dual boiler and auto steam wand.

Lovely to use. Been experimenting with different coffee beans. Enjoying my coffee so much more. Makes a lovely coffee
