Great value for money, gets the job done; So easy to do a wide range of dishes in less than half the time (with pressure cooking) as claimed on the box; Simple, straightforward operation without the bells and whistles of the next product up for Breville (which costs $130 more right now).

The absence of an auto steam release feature makes the task of releasing steam after a pressure cooking session a challenge; It's still easier than the stove-top pressure cooker's process though; There are other products which have the auto-release feature but admittedly cost more

CHOICE recommended, very versatile, great quality

Very happy with the Breville fast+slow cooker. I chose it because it was rated very highly by CHOICE (I think it was the top rated one) as well as being considerably cheaper than other models and brands. It is very simple to use.

One Stop Shop Pressure Cooker Brilliance

I don't usually write reviews but will make an exception here. This cooker cuts down on cooking time. Cuts down on energy use. Its a one stop shop. Sauté onions, meat, garlic on the sauté setting then add stock or water to pressure cook for one hour for a delicious stew. The steam release valve permeates the house with delicious cooking aromas. Perfect for pull apart beef ( brisket ) or pork. Also soup or curry. I made pumpkin soup then blended the ingredients using a stick blender once cooked. Added coconut milk and then set to warm.

Easily prepare whole dish in one pot.

Had a stovetop pressure cooker for many years but bought a convection cooktop which need steel or iron pans. Did my research and got the fast slow cooker. Love it! I sauté the ingredients, the pressure cook in the same pot, can even simmer if I need to reheat. Awesome and easy to clean as non stick insert comes out for washing. Have'not used the slow cooker much, too impatient and don't plan that far ahead. Love that I can cook a curry in half an hour.

Versatility

Versatile cooker as it can slow cook and pressure cook. I think there could be be more recipes in the book.. Also when slow cooking the liquid does not evaporate and in fact can increase so often can be too much. I did get a bit confused with the position of the knobs for the pressure cooker, instructions could be clearer.

Very pleasantly surprised

Always been dubious about multipurpose appliances but this one is terrific. The browning option is extremely handy whether you are slow or fast cooking. Use is reasonably intuitive so you're not always grabbing the instruction book. Easy clean-up is a great bonus.
