[Brateck Lumi LDT10-C012 13-32" Aluminum Interactive Counterbalance Monitor Arm . -90 +90 tilt, -90

While this unit I feel is not as good as the Loctek ones they do work and it does feature one little nicety that the Loctek does not, the VESA plate is actually attached to the monitor after you take the monitor stand off, you then attach the arm to the desk and the monitor clips into place in a receptacle which is strong and sturdy but still easy to get off. While this arm is adjustable for tension and/or position IMHO it doesn't feel as ridged even after adjustment as the Loctek but if you are after a slightly cheaper unit this is still the way to go.

Works well

This is the monitor arm to go with if you are buying a large monitor, it has a small base mount, is able to raise up quite high, and easily holds the monitor steady. The only downside I have found is the monitor can wobble slightly if the desk is moved. I like it so much I am buying another for my other monitor to replace a cheaper model.

Arm unable to hold a 8kg monitor in place

The arm feels sturdy and is rather easy to assemble too. However I immediately found that it could not hold a 8kg monitor in place upon installing my monitor onto the fully extended arm. All bolts and screws were tightened as much as possible. I had to using additional velcro straps and zip ties to keep the arm in place.

:Looks-great: but that’s it!

Sadly it falls down at 7.7 kg weight and does not support 9kg as advertised Manufacturer uses false and misleading statements on the packaging. If you are looking at this product and your monitor is heavier than 7.7 kg look for another arm.

Its ok

The cable management side of things was very hard to work with. it looks fine, however. I recommend that you use a min of 2m in length for your video/power cables that are super thin to take advantage of the cable management side of things.
