The Bose Soundbar 700 looks smart, sounds smart and actually is smart thanks to the inclusion of both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. However a lack of HDMI inputs, no Atmos/DTS:X support and a glass top that reflects the TV screen isn’t quite so smart at this price.
Big front soundstage; Excellent remote app; ADAPTiQ audio calibration; Alexa/Google Assistant built-in
Light on bass; No Atmos/DTS:X; No HDMI inputs; Reflective top
This soundbar is nice for regular TV shows. Pretty much like all the others. Where it really shines is when you watch movies on regular broadcasting or pay for services. I hate to say it but it sounds almost as nice as my big system in the playroom.
Great sound; small space compared to others
Price; but you get what you pay for
Sounds great...isnt that what it is all about I didnt quite have the room for audio separates so I begrudgingly installed the Bose 700 soundbar with a subwoofer and I couldnt be more pleased. It has worked flawlessly since being installed 3 months ago. It sounds fantastic and is sexy as heck.
The Bose Soundbar 700 certainly feels like a high-end product with a super finish and some excellent features. If you want one or both of the main smart assistants this soundbar has you covered, and the ADAPTiQ audio calibration ensures the sonic performance is often impressive.
Solid front soundstage; Effective remote app; Attractive design; ADAPTiQ audio calibration; EARC support; Built-in Alexa/Google Assistant
No additional HDMI inputs; No Atmos/DTS:X support; Top is too reflective; Annoying remote control; Lacking in bass
This classy soundbar looks smart, acts smart and generally sounds smart. However, some design flaws, a lack of Atmos/DTS:X support, and limited bass make it hard to recommend at this price.

Smart looks, smart assistants, not-so-smart features
The Bose Soundbar 700 simply isn't quite up to scratch. Frankly, it feels like an overpriced smart speaker with an HDMI connection, rather than a soundbar with voice assistant features built-in. Mind you, the same could be said about the Sonos Playbar.
ADAPTiQ audio calibration; Built-in Alexa and Google Assistant; Excellent app integration
Fails to deliver an engaging sound; Doesn't support Dolby Atmos or DTX:S; Oversized remote control
Bose’s Soundbar 700 might replace your smart speaker, but it’s no substitute for a properly cinematic audio system

Wow, great sound, easy to set up with app! Remote is a bit complicated, but I don't use it much opting for the app or my TV remote instead. Perfect for movies or streaming music throughout the room. Love it!
