Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 Review

The Bose NC 700 headphones serve up excellent levels of comfort, as well as impressive sound and noise cancellation. Though the Sony XM4 edge them out as our favourite wireless ANC over-ears, the Bose are a great-looking pair of headphones

Very comfortable; Very good noise cancellation; Easy to use app; Great looks; Neutral sounding character;

Can't fold; Audio could use a little more organisation; 20-hours battery not massive ;

There’s a reason why audiophiles everywhere love Bose.

Stunning design, Amazing noise cancellation, Choose your own voice assistant, Easy to use app, Powerful soundstage, Incredible battery life, Fantastic microphone, High Bluetooth strength, Multi-device pairing, Durable and lightweight

No APTX codec, No NFC pairing, Expensive

Ok but rattles

Brought 3 weeks ago and like them but they aren’t the best. Sound as per usual is amazing but quality of manufacture is poor - this seems to be a common thing I gave found with there new products e.g. sound bar 700, sunglasses and tv wall mount (all of which I own) The massive issue is that when walking the muffs and headband connection rattles when walking fast or walking down stairs. They should have kept the attachment the same as the quiet comfort. Would rate this 3 stars because of build quality.

Great promises, great deception

First of all, I am very careful with my devices... I bought the Eclipse version in January 2020. I can say the in call sound is superb. However, the QC 35's are more comfortable and robust. These scratch easily. And after a few months of easy using, they don't recharge fully anymore. Bose is known for their ear pads needing to be replaced regularly. I have yet to see them in this color. They keep loosing connection with the application. When I log in my bose account, which has the correct serial number registered, it shows as if the unit were a Soapstone unit. Poor delivery for a premium price.

State of The Art Bose Headphones

I bought these May 4, they arrived. I took a paid day off to make sure I got the delivery. Easy to pair with my phone, Noise Cancellation is great, the technology is superb. I was frustrated when i could not find a volume button, so i came here today May 5th and I found you can control volume by sliding your finger up or down on the right side headphone cup. AWESOME I felt like Capt Kirk on the Enterprise.I am 38 year user of Bose Products and I have yet to be disappointed I have Soundtouch wave System , a Soundlink Spraker, Over Ear headphones that i will give to my daughter. And i have a Bose Solo 5 soundbar . I love Bose products

Good but not great

I bought these headphones 3 months ago and use them daily. The blutooth feature works fine although automatically look for your devices, which is not very tech. Sound quality is good and battery life is very long. However, the intuitive touch control is not well designed. You can tap on the headphone to pause a soundtrack or go to next. But it resonates in your hear and defeats the purpose of noise cancellation. I think i would have preferred a button or an insulated touch pad. Sometimes wonder whether engineers try their own products.

Constant popping sound

I bought these a week ago and have spent the whole time desperately trying to get rid of a constant popping static sound in both earcups. During my futile attempts to get basic functionality from these, I discovered that the headband is uncomfortable for long sessions, and that the manual's advice for every problem is to blame whichever device you connect to. I am returning these and will likely try the Quiet Comfort next, since at least there's a longer history of support tickets to search for solutions.

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 review review

Great new design; Noise cancelling is as brilliant as ever, and now fully customisable; Peerless voice pickup; Excellent voice assistant support; Let you pair two devices simultaneously;

Not quite as comfortable as the QC35 IIs; Buggy app; Sony’s WH-1000XM3 are cheaper and sound better;

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 - Black 794297-0100 review

“Bose's new Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 offer incredible calling for business-class delight.”

Excellent noise canceling, Extremely comfortable, Remarkable voice clarity for calls and voice assistants, Connect to multiple devices at once; USB-C brings convenient quick-charging

Boost to lower treble comes off as harsh; Requires Bose Music App to control many functions

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 review

The 700s USP is undoubtedly its new voice pickup system. If you’re someone who makes a lot of calls on-the-go, you won’t find better. Meanwhile the already exceptional noise cancelling tech is even better, and can be tweaked precisely to the user’s taste. Other features, like a band’s worth of voice assistants and the slick touch controls, are also winners. It’s just a shame that the app appears to be temperamental - at least for now - and I can’t shake the feeling that, although the 700s are far from sonic slouches - I’d rather be listening to my music on their obvious rival, the Sony WH-1000XM3. But if call quality and noise cancelling are just as important to you, Bose’s new flagship cans are the new gold standard.

Great new design; Noise cancelling is as brilliant as ever, and now fully customisable; Peerless voice pickup; Excellent voice assistant support; Let you pair two devices simultaneously;

Not quite as comfortable as the QC35 IIs; Buggy app; Sony’s WH-1000XM3 are cheaper and sound better;
