BenQ XL2430T Review

When you're gaming, speed can mean the difference between winning and losing, which is why most gamers require a blazing-fast PC with lots of graphics horsepower. However, it just doesn't make sense to pair all that PC hardware with a monitor designed for everyday use. Enter the BenQ XL2430T ($399), a feature-rich display designed exclusively for gaming. Based on a 24-inch Twisted Nematic (TN) panel with a 1-millisecond pixel response and a 144 Hz refresh rate, the XL2430T ($768.36 at Amazon) delivers solid gaming, color, and gray-scale performance and is equipped with a generous selection of I/O ports and a multi-position stand. At $400, it's not exactly cheap, but it's certainly more affordable than its G-Sync-enabled sibling (and our Editors' Choice), the BenQ XL2420G. Design and Features The XL2430T sports a slightly different design than its predecessors, the BenQ XL2420T and XL2420TX. The matte-black cabinet with a glossy-back panel is the same, but a flat, rectangular sta...

The BenQ XL2430T is a full-featured, midsize gaming monitor that delivers solid all-around performance, a fast pixel response, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Solid gaming performance; Multiple I/O ports; Fully adjustable stand; Lots of gaming settings

Pricey; Narrow viewing angles

If you're gaming competitively, you need equipment that can respond as fast as you can. There's nothing worse than everything falling into place during a match, only to miss your moment by a fraction of a second.

Best screen i ever had

Best screen i ever had. 144Hz from 60 Hz.. I noticed the difference quickly enough. Even if you ain't playing fps games and are more into rts.. go ahead, the smoothness is worth it. Also great is the settings panel; this is a very customizable screen.

The BenQ XL2430T is by no means a cheap monitor, but if you already have a high end gaming computer that is being hindered by the limitations set by a 60FPS monitor, the BenQ monitor provides you with an excellent option that not only has great colour reproduction, but a few bells and whistles...

Games are getting heavier and life-like day by day. With every next game, I feel the need for a display that can be faster and better in resolution at the same time. There are televisions sprouting up in this category that support 4K resolution and can swindle frames at the speed of 200 every...

High refresh rate; great performance; Adjustable stand; Separate settings control switch; Low blue light panel is easy on eyes

Over processed colors; Too pricey; Narrow viewing angles

BenQ XL2430T 24-Inch 144Hz Gaming Monitor

BenQ sent over a 144Hz-capable 24-inch screen priced attractively. As a gamer, it'd be hard to ignore this model, which doesn't offer G-Sync support, but does deliver a great picture and excellent maximum refresh rate for less than $400. To G-Sync or not to G-Sync?

Out-of-box and calibrated accuracy; light output; blur reduction without major brightness loss; trouble-free 144Hz refresh rate; top-notch build quality

A few weeks ago we took a look at one of Benq's mainstream gaming monitors. It performed well with some decent features. Today we go high end with our Benq XL2420G Review, focusing on a screen which supports G-Sync and 3DVision. Dont need those Then we will also take a quick look at the XL2430t.
