Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ review: Big-screen gaming done right

I've long been a fan of AOC's enormous 31.5in AG322QCX gaming monitor – but a few flaws have always niggled, notably, the somewhat sluggish response time and distracting inverse ghosting with Overdrive acceleration enabled.

Super-smooth refresh rate; Even illumination; Fast response

Brightness is merely average; Colour accuracy could be better

This monitor, is a great piece of hardware. It's a great size of about 32 inches, and the curve makes the view feel so alive. The only complaint is viewing angles kinda suck so you literally have to be in the middle of the monitor to get a great view. Sides, your experience will deplete.

The Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ offers a panel with interesting properties in an exuberant housing. Tastes vary, and not everyone will be able to appreciate the design, but we can certainly imagine that a large part of the target group easily fall for this.

The ASUS ROG series is a very hardcore niche product. In fact that particular range is so hardcore, if a prospective buyer has no clue what ASUS ROG is, they probably don't need this product.

Poor.

Monitors colours are dull, washed out, bland, suppose that's the trouble with TN displays, I wouldn't recommend buying this.

ASUS ROG Strix XG32VQ 31.5" Curved Gaming Monitor 1440p, 2560X1440 , 144hz , ( Ex-demo unit for clearance , no back order )

I love this monitor, i also have a 4k monitor which is ok i guess, but this asus monitor is something else its not as bright as my 4k monitor which is a good thing because its easy on the eyes i wish i had bought this sooner. I highly recommend buying this, its also at a decent price.

Excellent monitor

I have been using this for the last week. Definately not suited to competitive play due to the 4ms response, but for story driven games or looter shooters this is fantastic. The freesync works well aslong as your graphics card os compatible. You can really notice the difference.

This monitor is absolutely incredible. The refresh rate combined with the curved screen really immerses you in the games, and honestly the first time I used it I was blown away by the quality and smoothness of the picture.

A curved gaming monitor that is disguised as an art piece and comes with 144Hz of refresh rate, 4ms of response time and FreeSync enabled – a win for Team Red.

Great build quality; 144Hz
