The Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ delivers fast, smooth and crisp gaming thanks to its peak 165Hz refresh rate and improved motion blur technology – it’s hard to find a screen that’s as rapid and as clear as this display. It has a good resolution and great colours, too. Its physical feature set is a little scarce and contrast could be better, but this is a good option for people who play fast-paced games.

Purchased as a dual monitor to my ROG PG279Q. Overall, really nice screen, and about on par with the more “premium” ROG series. A really great alternative to the PG279QE, and is cheaper. You get the 144hz experience and it works with G-Sync. Price wise, your mileage may vary, as there are cheaper options for 1440p 27", but I wanted to stick with the ASUS brand since my own experiences have been good. I wouldn't rate this as 5 stars since there is noticeable IPS glow in bottom corners compared to my PG279Q, but I only see this in low light conditions with dark colors, so not a deal breaker. For me personally, worth the price.

Can't complain about anything it's hit all the checkboxes for me, 1440p IPS display with a refresh rate up to 165 Hz it's very hard to complain.

I picked this up with 10% off over Labour Day weekend. While the original monitor had an unfortunate few dead pixels, I was able to get a replacement within a couple weeks. The replacement has been working great. I haven't encountered any issues with it, and the refresh rate and resolution far surpasses what I'm used to working with (going from 1080p 60hz to 1440p 165hz is huge). The colour quality is great as well. I'm not a lighting expert, but my previous 1080p monitors look dull and washed out in comparison. If you're looking for a high quality 144hz+ monitor but aren't sure about jumping straight to 4K, I can definitely recommend this. Thanks to the Mighty Ape team for helping me to get my replacement so quickly as well.

Amazing display. Upgraded from a 1080p 60hz, this is a fantastic offer. There is a small but noticeable glow in pitch black scenes/videogames, but it wasn't nearly as bad as some online forums suggested (my first time buying an IPS). 5/5
