Worked well on Macbook retina

I was looking for something that works well on an MacBook Retina running Windows 7 in Bootcamp and did not want to spend the money for the Apple monitor. I found the HDMI cable included in the box supported the full 2560 x 1440. I also loved the fact that you can rotate the screen.

Asus Professional 27" LED LCD Monitor - PB278Q

This is another display from Asus which makes for a great offering at a price that won't empty your wallet. First, it offers great 2k (2560x1440) resolution for ultra sharp, off-center viewing with a one hundred seventy-eight degree viewing angle that will be of great use for those of you working...

Beautiful

My first ASUS had a single line about an inch from the top that failed - and I replaced it with a new one...and purchased a second one. So I have a horizontal monitor on my left and a vertical one on my right. The color is beautiful. Very sharp and clear.

Fewer extras than the competition, but excellent high-resolution images out of the box

For some time, I've been looking to upgrade the Dell U2311H IPS LCD that served as my primary work monitor at the office with something that has more vertical real estate (1080p just doesn't cut it for serious productivity) and better colour reproduction.

Asus PB278Q

An in depth look at the Professional range 27", high resolution monitor from Asus. The PLS panel, LED backlighting and decent specs make this an interesting choice. How does it perform in our tests?

Great range of connections and stand adjustments (including all cables provided; Very good pixel response times; Very good contrast ratio; the best we've seen from a PLS panel so far

Useless dynamic contrast ratio in practice; PWM used for backlight dimming; Not great default setup; and no sRGB emulation

ASUS PB278Q 2560x1440 Monitor Review

Monitor choice is thankfully a lot easier in recent times. Even a cheap TN panel will be reasonable quality.

Asus PB278Q review

The PB278Q is a 27in IPS monitor with a large 2,560x1,440 resolution, and is very similar in specification to Viewsonic's VP2770-LED. It's another highly-adjustable screen with excellent picture quality, and is ideal for working on multiple documents or with complicated applications such as video...
