Ive been playing the Assassin's Creed games for a while and this one does not disappoint. Great game.

...and you will know us by the trail of dead.

Whether it's a sequel from an annualized racing series or an expansion pack to a well-received game, there's comfort in the familiar--and, potentially, boredom as well. Dead Kings, the first downloadable content for Assassin's Creed Unity, is an unfortunate example of the perils of taking the beaten...

The Guillotine Gun is rewardingly lethal no matter the range; Classic Assassin's Creed mission types have some innate appeal

Fighting Raiders is almost as one-dimensional as their personalities; Arno's new brooding personality makes him less likable

What's old is new again... kind of

Slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy this game, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled.

Assassin's Creed Unity review: Two steps back

While it will likely suffice for Assassin's Creed core fans, Unity stumbles throughout and never really finds its footing. Where last year's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag saw the franchise reach new heights, Unity is somewhat of a sidestep that only shines sporadically.

Assassin's Creed Unity features breathtaking environments and occasional scenes of great heightened action.

The game suffers from clunky free-running movement; Climbing and descending aren't as seamless as they are intended to be; Unity suffers from terrible frame rate dips and other graphical weirdness.

Freely sailing the Caribbean was a real revelation for the series, and it was so enjoyable that it was always going to be missed...

A return to the creed; Strengthening the central pillars; Being an Assassin is fun again; Cooperative play; Elise's hair

Assassin's Creed Unity Review – Immensely Fun Despite the St-St-Stuttering Framerates

Over the course of its six previous entries (main series) the Assassin's Creed franchise has done an amazing job of remaining fresh despite its yearly release cycle. From Altair's epic journey during the Third Crusade to Edward Kenway's Caribbean piracy it has woven an intricate storyline of...
