Bought this for a build site to monitor people coming and going and to make sure materials weren't being stolen from site. The motion detection was terrible even set to the highest sensitivity. I wasn't getting a notification when we were within 2 mtrs from camera and if we did get one, it came about 5 mins later. Too late, if someone was stealing our materials from site. The vision lags with at least a 5 second delay. Also be aware, you must sign up for an Arlo monthly subscription after 7 days of free access, to be able to review any recorded footage. This adds up, also take into account you need to pay for a mobile data plan for the sim card as well. When all costs are added up, in my opinion, not worth the money at all. Clarity is ok but not great. Many other brands out there do the same thing, with no monthly subscription required and cost a lot less for the camera. Basically the product did not deliver what we needed.

The camera has bugs such as the audio detection works even when you turn it off always triggering the camera and draining the battery. And the battery has lasted about 2 to 3 weeks rather than 2 to 3 months as advertised. Otherwise it’s a good camera that feels my particular requirements

I’ve had mine for about a year now and I’m still plenty happy with it. Lots of programming options for flexibility; I like the geofencing setting the best as it activates when I leave home (connection through my phone via Arlo app) and deactivates when I return. That way I can leave the notifications on and not have my emails get flooded with them! The only thing that would make the Arlo go better is if it were 4K or higher definition. It’s 1080p.

after multiple break ins to our yard, the 5th time with one of these cameras i was alerted and the amazing effort of VicPolice and the dog squad they were caught and all my items saved. Amazing technology

It's basically a garbage! The license plate of the vehicle cannot be seen clearly and the face cannot be seen.
