The second best electronic device purchase ever!

This beautiful and well-made device is a wonderful piece of art and superb engineering! - I have the black stainless steel case model. It combines a multitude of functions, including monitoring heart-rate, electrocardiograph, multiple exercise functions and calorie-burn, breathing etc.

Apple Watch Series 4 Aluminum (40mm, Silver) - Excellent review

It’s bigger, it’s better-looking and it could save your life

The larger screen (30% larger no less), especially as the Watch itself has barely grown at all. The Series 4 comes in 40mm and 44mm versions (measured vertically), compared to 38mm and 42mm for past Watches.

There’s no native sleep tracking, and even if there was the battery life is still too short to allow you to wear the Watch at night. The battery will last a day comfortably, but not two, so you have to plug it in every night.

Apple Watch Series 4 Aluminum (40mm, Silver) - Excellent review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Apple Watch Series 4 Review

Last year's Apple Watch Series 3 cemented its place as the best smartwatch you can buy. This year, Apple has gone a step further to make the Apple Watch Series 4 the only wearable you need.

Impressive array of heart-tracking features; ECG; Larger screen that looks great; Strong performance; Haptic feedback on crown is a nice touch; Excellent app support

Longer battery life would have been nice; Expensive; No third party watch faces

Apple Watch Series 4

The fourth iteration of the Apple Watch still looks like a tiny iPhone on your wrist, but for many, it was the most exciting device announced at Apple's event earlier this month.

Bigger; better screen; All old Watch bands fit on the Series 4; Good battery life; Faster performance; Fall detection has the potential to be lifesaving; ECG features give users more control to monitor their health on a daily basis; Accurate auto workout detection and ending feature; WebKit support...

ECG app isn't available yet; WatchOS 5 drops support for Series 0 devices; New complications are only compatible with new watch faces; Still no support for third-party watch faces; Still no native sleep tracking; Siri has trouble completing Shortcuts; More expensive than any other Apple Watch; and...

Roughly two-and-half minutes into my run, the watch kicks in. There's a haptic buzz on my wrist. "It looks like you're working out," the watch face reads. That's followed by a big, yellow button, suggesting I start an indoor run.
