If you're still rocking an Apple Watch Series 1 or original model, the Apple Watch Series 3 is worth the upgrade, LTE or not. For Series 2 owners, you're looking at almost the same smartwatch, so an update will depend on how much you value LTE on the wrist.

The Apple Watch Series 3 is essentially a suped up Series 2 with improved battery life and performance. Apps load faster, Siri is smarter, and the sports/activity tracking features are better.

Improved battery life over Series 2; though still not that great; Large ecosystem of apps and accessories; Much faster than the Series 2; Water resistant with plenty of sport features; Very helpful smart features including notifications; music playback; and Siri

The Apple Watch Series 3 is the closest attempt we've seen at a truly standalone smartwatch yet, and for that it deserves credit. But at the end of the day, it's still just a neat accessory for your iPhone.

I finally made the switch from FitBit to Apple Watch and I'm loving it! It has taken me some time to get used to the features and I still do not know to utilize the watch to its full potential, but am very happy with it so far. I have to charge my watch every other day.

The Apple Watch is a great compliment to my iPhone and is good at tracking my physical activities. I love the fact that I can wear it in the pool or in the shower. I also like how it links all of my vital stats to the Apple Health app. The battery life is phenomenal.
