Players can expect an enjoyable game here in Alien: Isolation. It is going to require some trial and error though, which can be frustrating given the save system, which is the one really big knock against this game.

It's not often that I criticize a game for being too long, but " Alien: Isolation " feels like it outstays its welcome. There's too much backtracking, too much filler, and the game would have been tighter if it were half the length, and none of the tension would have been lost.
Unlike most of my friends, I've never been a big fan of the horror genre, both movies and video games. There are certainly exceptions (well, mostly the
+ Homage to the Alien series - both audio and visual; + The Alien's ability to hunt you; + Genuinely unnerving; + Tons of ways to attempt to outsmart the Alien
- Inconsistent voice acting; - Awkward pacing at times; - Annoying item creation
I am a big fan of the Alien franchise so you can imagine my disappointment when release after release I am underwhelmed with all the game adaptions that have come. Alien 3 for the NES and Sega Genesis were run and gun action games that had zero tie-ins with the movie.
Deep, intelligent, intense, and utterly unlike any experience before it, Alien: Isolation presents all that's truly great about AAA, and also its evolution.
The Alien is truly terrifying; Amazing recreation of the Alien universe; Smart AI keeps the game unpredictable; Looks astonishing; It's a long game; but intense throughout
Lack of guidance will deter some
The alien game that we should have had years ago. Great game, slightly laggy in places but not a problem. Ticks all the boxes
Not the best of games to own, there is not guns or weapons to fight. long boring sessions of finding things. bored in 5 mins in gamplay. Graphics are not top notch. Skip it
Buy Alien: Isolation If you are a fan of games involving the "Alien" franchise, you know how many games have tried to feature the iconic movie monster. You also know that nearly all modern attempts have been disappointing.
Good scary game! If you love the Alien scenery, you gonna love it!
From the start, I didn't really have Alien: Isolation pegged as a prime target for downloadable content; after all, the story it tells is very self-contained; the focus remains solely on Amanda Ripley as she struggles to survive aboard Sevastopol Station.
