Players can expect an enjoyable game here in Alien: Isolation. It is going to require some trial and error though, which can be frustrating given the save system, which is the one really big knock against this game.

It's not often that I criticize a game for being too long, but " Alien: Isolation " feels like it outstays its welcome. There's too much backtracking, too much filler, and the game would have been tighter if it were half the length, and none of the tension would have been lost.

I am a big fan of the Alien franchise so you can imagine my disappointment when release after release I am underwhelmed with all the game adaptions that have come. Alien 3 for the NES and Sega Genesis were run and gun action games that had zero tie-ins with the movie.
