I bought this for some cousins whom I got a Memorex SingStand for last Christmas. The Singstand must have over voltage protection, it wouldn't work in their Grandma's house. I checked the voltage, 129-130 volts. After buying this regulator, set to 120 volts, it put out 117-118 volts.

I have all of my electronic equipment on APC UPS units. They have saved me numerous times from spikes, brownouts and nearby lightning strikes. Well worth the cost! Only issue is battery replacement. The battery costs are expensive.
