Will not work with my laptop

I ordered this screen to work with my work laptop since I travel some and thought it would be convenient to have. It will not work with my laptop because it has Windows 10 on it (I have looked but do not see a work around nor do I see it mentioned in the specs that it does not work with Windows 10).

Travelers choice for 2nd screen

I have the screen working on both my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 running Windows 8 and my Hp Elite book running Windows 7. And the HP does not have a 3.0 USB port.

Great portable monitor

Pros: - Comes with the USB cable - USB cable serves as: 1) Signal for external monitor 2) Power for the external monitor - Lightweight Cons: - None so far I hope this monitor lasts for a long time. I purchased the 2 year warranty just in case for $15, but hope to never use it.

Screen real-estate is something that many people value greatly. As someone who's worked in design, you have no idea how adding an additional monitor to your desktop setup can really help your workflow.

AOC E1659Fwu

When we reviewed the AOC E1649Fwu portable USB monitor last year it earned high marks for its color and text quality and affordable price but we thought it was a little bulky and suffered from narrow viewing angles.

USB 3.0; Streamlined design; Affordable; Sharp image quality

Reflective screen; Skewed color accuracy

AOC E1659Fwu Review

When we reviewed the AOC E1649Fwu portable USB monitor last year it earned high marks for its color and text quality and affordable price but we thought it was a little bulky and suffered from narrow viewing angles. Its successor, the AOC E1659Fwu($99.99 at Amazon), is also affordable and it delivers sharp text and bright (albeit not very accurate) colors and somewhat narrow viewing angles. However, there are notable improvements, including USB 3.0 connectivity and a more streamlined chassis. Design and Features The E1659Fwu sports the same shiny black finish and weighs about the same as its predecessor (2.4 pounds), but at 0.9 inches this version is significantly thinner than the AOC E1649Fwu (1.4 inches). The 15.6-inch panel has a 1,366-by-768 resolution and a shiny anti-glare coating that tends to reflect ambient light. This time around AOC installed a set of VESA mounting holes for hanging the monitor on a wall. Or, you can use the silver stand to prop it up in either landsc...

The AOC E1659Fwu is an affordable 15.6-inch portable USB 3.0 monitor that lets you take your multi-screen setup on the road. Its color accuracy is off, but it delivers a sharp picture and is easy to tote around.

AOC E1659FWU portable monitor review

The AOC E1659FWU is a budget 15.6in portable monitor for mobile workers who use a hot-desk and need to work on multiple screens. The monitor is powered by USB and runs on standard DisplayLink drivers, so it should work on any device running Windows and Mac OS X.

AOC e1659fwu USB Monitor Review

Users asked, and AOC delivered. The company has updated its 16-inch USB 3.0 monitor to offer traveling business professionals a sleeker device with a sturdier kickstand and better picture quality.

AOC e1659Fwu Black 16" 8ms USB3.0 Powered WLED Backlit Widescreen Ultra Slim LCD Monitor, 200 cd/m2 500:1 w/carry Case, VESA Mountable

If you are looking for more screen real estate for mobile situations, this is your product. If you are looking just to add a second monitor for your desktop, this is your product (you might need to buy a longer cable though). If you are looking for a monitor to game on, forget about it.

I have bought in the neighborhood of 100 of these; Starting with the older version the 1649; These have come a LONG way from where they used to be; Super light Comes with a case Typically very easy to install, definitely plug and play; Fits in most 15.6 bags All of my users are road warriors.

USB 3.0 connection on the monitor side could use some beefing up; I don't like the USB 3.0 connector on that side anyways, smaller is not always better; I do replace them because of this issue.

Nice but may casuse display issues at 1st

I bought this elsewhere on sale, plus a coupon on top of that for the store I bought it from. I needed a second monitor that was small and easy to move around when I am done with it. This fit the price and it far more easy to unplug and put away when I am done my online lectures.

Small; light; only one cable needed; Good picture

Drivers can be a bit tricky for systems with no on board graphics so be sure to make a restore point just in case; Cable a bit short
