This cheap and cheerful USB display is highly portable but struggles to produce good-looking images
This works great for table top presentations. Fast 3.0 usb and popped right up as a second monitor. Fits in my briefcase. Loving this!
for me and the one i had the summery is not good i still think they are a great idea and i have a little 7 inch one i picked up from thinkgeek back in the day no issues with it so the brand is one that has worked for me in the past just the drivers on this werent up to date for my evga gtx 680 FTW...
wall mountable Light portable
it many need 2 usb ports 1 3.0 and 1 2.0 it wouldn't work on my laptop or my desktop tried updating the drivers off both websites was going to just switch it because i read a number of times that the usb cable is not the greatest the connection isnt always made kinda thing but i just ended up...
Easy to install, easy to set up. Very functional and carrying case makes it easy to transport and store. Great second monitor for mobile workers!
Recommend this monitor. For portable extra monitor goodness at a good price, very worthwhile. The low resolution is not ideal, but can't complaing given the price.
I have the screen working on both my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 running Windows 8 and my Hp Elite book running Windows 7. And the HP does not have a 3.0 USB port.
If you are looking for more screen real estate for mobile situations, this is your product. If you are looking just to add a second monitor for your desktop, this is your product (you might need to buy a longer cable though). If you are looking for a monitor to game on, forget about it.
I have bought in the neighborhood of 100 of these; Starting with the older version the 1649; These have come a LONG way from where they used to be; Super light Comes with a case Typically very easy to install, definitely plug and play; Fits in most 15.6 bags All of my users are road warriors.
USB 3.0 connection on the monitor side could use some beefing up; I don't like the USB 3.0 connector on that side anyways, smaller is not always better; I do replace them because of this issue.
The USB connection to the monitor is finicky so I would definitely get the warranty. Other than that, it does the job and is lightweight and great for MS Office products/basic computing.
I bought this elsewhere on sale, plus a coupon on top of that for the store I bought it from. I needed a second monitor that was small and easy to move around when I am done with it. This fit the price and it far more easy to unplug and put away when I am done my online lectures.
Small; light; only one cable needed; Good picture
Drivers can be a bit tricky for systems with no on board graphics so be sure to make a restore point just in case; Cable a bit short
