Samsung seemingly has a smartphone of every size, but the Galaxy S4 Mini marks one of its first premium devices at the smaller end of the scale. As its name suggests, its basically a smaller, cut down version of the original Galaxy S4, and it will shortly be available in Australia.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is another variant of the wildly successful Galaxy S4. It's basically a smaller, cut down version of that model, and it will shortly be available in Australia.
Compact size and weight; Reasonable specifications; Most familiar Samsung features;
Lower screen resolution; Only 8GB internal memory;
The Galaxy S4 mini's internal hardware has also been shrunk down, and not in the physical sense. The 4.3 inch display has a 960×540 resolution, which is half of what the S4 has to offer.
I have always had iPhones but this Samsung galaxy s4 mini is fabulous I can't fault it! Colour quality is great and sound and lay out is ace I really would recommend this product to anyone

Android 4.2.2; solid construction; Performance; Balanced; Comfortable and pleasant to use; Excellent pictures in bright ambient light
Awkward position for the microSD slot; Disappointing camera with low light; Price above average; Below average screen resolution
John, since it runs Android 4.22, I dind´t find anyway to move apps to ExtSD except if you root your phone (doing so there are some apps to move or swap the internal and external memory) and, by the way, losing the waranty.

Looks and feels like a mini version of the S4; Smooth performance thanks to its snappy CPU and good dollop of RAM; Good camera; Expandable storage; You can swop the battery; IR blaster on board
Non-HD display; Has very little in common with the S4 when it comes to software enhancement
Android smartphones are certainly getting bigger overall. But there are more than a few smaller-screened Android devices available as well. Not too long ago, we took a look at HTC's One Mini, with a 4.3-inch screen.
