Going on holiday is always the perfect time to test out an action camera such as the GoPro Hero 5 Black. So when I booked in two weeks in Vietnam, I figured it would be opportune to break out what I initially described as GoPro's "best camera to date" for another spin.

After watching plenty of cycling videos on YouTube I wanted to have a go at recording some footage of my rides being a keen cyclist in both road and mountain disciplines.

I did quite a bit of researching before my purchase. Before I speak of the cons I'll say it is a great camera and the size is awesome especially since it has the ability to record 4K. I believe it is built well and overall pretty user friendly.

I am very pleased with your monkeys. You've got the second cheapest Hero 5 in the country! I ordered it on Wednesday and went in to pick it up on Thursday morning, and it was there all right.

Best if used frequently, I can't seem to put it down. I will be using it often for many applications , flogging, vacation videos, studio recording with external sterio mic...etc... PS: also can be used for action clips/shots..e??? Hence the term, (ACTION CAMERA).

The camera is alright decent. The plastic housing that the camera comes with was poorly made and covers all the mic holes, so it gives it an underwater type of audio. The next issue is the audio on the Hero 5 is great if you sit it down on a table or place it somewhere and leave it alone, but if...

This camera gives great quality video and images and it is so much easier to use than the 3. `I have used it fishing, swimming/diving and mt. biking. Love it
