Fujifilm XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS

As the first telephoto zoom for the fledgling XF system, the new Fujifilm XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS is a solid rather than spectacular performer, offering an appealing combination of good image quality, excellent construction and handling, and fair value for money.

Another terrific Fuji Product

I am new to the Fuji XT! and am still learning how to use it to its advantage. I bought the 55-200 to use as a street, nature, all around lens. It is great. The sharpness, color, and range is wonderful to work with.

Great Picture Quality; Lightweight; Simple Controls

Why Did I Wait

What can I say except I have been without this lens for far too long. I like the stiffness of the zoom so there's no chance of it creeping when hanging downwards. It's very sharp even at maximum zoom. It's a great size for carrying around and is my everyday lens now.

Fujinon XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Lens

The Fujinon XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS lens is a match for the Super EBC XF18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS lens in build quality and exceeds it slightly in performance. Like its sibling, it is decidedly superior to the average kit lens and makes an excellent partner to the shorter zoom with either of...

High image quality

Very high image quality with this lens. Fuji system is my surprise of the year. I will buy another Fuji lens soon, a 10-20mm F:2.8 zoom to expand my focal range to 10mm-200mm with Fuji lens. Louis V.

Good lens but not had much chance to use it yet

If I'm honest I haven't really used this much yet as I've mostly been using the 35mm F1.4 with my new Fuji X-T10, but the few shots I've taken have been really good. I'm planning on taking ti capture some wildlife when touring Costa Rica later in the year so we'll see more then.

Quality Performance, Tiny size, fast aperture! Bargain!

Also owning the professional 50-140 f2.8 lens I wanted a lighter smaller lens that doesn't compromise on image quality. This is the best 70-300 equivalent lens I have ever used. And the smallest! Also a nice fast aperture of f4.8 at the long end making it a great portrait lens too!

Built with optical design that offers a large maximum aperture, and a linear motor that delivers high-speed AF performance, while featuring the image stabilization function that allows the use of shutter speeds 4.5 stops slower.

In my nascent tenure as a Fujifilm shooter, I've worked primarily in the medium to wide focal spectrum, from 55mm at the longest to 10mm at the widest. I'm primarily a street photographer, so I'll have to find a balcony for anything longer than 50mm.

Fujinon XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS

I got this to complete my 3-lens set for my recently bought X-Pro1 and it's just blown me away. It's beautifully made, light, works very smoothly. The zoom ring is still quite stiff but this should loosen off over time I think.

Fabulous IQ; up with the very best

Er...haven't found any yet
