In short, the Fujifilm X-T2 just didna€?t sit with me. All of it is of course just personal preference based on how I like my cameras. And the X-T2 is a great camera, truly fantastic. Its just that with expensive gear like this I get very, very picky. On cheaper cameras I would let it all slide.

Fujifilm X-Pro2 Mirrorless Camera Review

Just like the Fujifilm X-Pro1, which was introduced in 2012, the new Fujifilm X-Pro2 mirrorless camera is based on an APS-C sensor, but it uses a completely new version of the "X-Trans CMOS" sensor and now offers 24 megapixels instead of 16MP.

Fuji X-Pro2 Review

When it comes to ergonomics (ISO selector apart!), compactness, autofocus speed and accuracy, choice of lenses and overall image quality, the Fuji X-Pro2 proved to be outstanding. Just like with the original X-Pro1, I am sure Fuji will continue its Kaizen approach of continuous firmware development...

Well made classic looking machine ...

This retro designed camera is well made and looks tough. I love the knobs and dials which you can use to manually control exposure and speed. I used for street shooting due to its quietness. I also have the previous version X-Pro1 which has a slower focusing but the X-Pro has improved on this.

The Fuji X-Pro2 offers excellent image quality across a wide range of ISO speeds, user-friendly and retro-inspired ergonomics, a new high-resolution 24-megapixel sensor and a vastly-improved hybrid autofocus system, among many other new features and improvements.

Weather-sealed, ergonomic camera body; Fast hybrid AF system; Excellent high ISO performance; Improved continuous shooting performance; Better video quality than previous Fuji cameras

Some controls don't impress; Continuous autofocus still lags behind competing DSLR cameras; No 4K video; Fixed LCD without touchpanel

Fujifilm X-Pro2

In the five years since the introduction of Fujifilm's X-Pro1 , the mirrorless camera space has improved by leaps and bounds. The long-awaited X-Pro2 ($1,699, body only) takes everything that photographers love about its predecessor and improve upon it.

Quick focus and 8.2fps burst shooting; Large buffer; Unique hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder; Focus selection joystick; Film emulation modes; All-weather build; Dual SD slots; Wi-Fi

Optical viewfinder not well-suited for telephoto lenses; Fixed LCD doesn't support touch input; Video limited to 1080p; Omits built-in flash; Expensive

Fujifilm X-Pro2 Review

In the five years since the introduction of Fujifilm's X-Pro1 ( at Amazon) , the mirrorless camera space has improved by leaps and bounds. The long-awaited X-Pro2 ($1,699, body only) takes everything that photographers love about its predecessor and improve upon it. The sensor resolution has been upped to 24MP, the EVF is crisper, and the camera's focus and shooting rate are significantly faster. If you love shooting with an optical viewfinder, and don't want to shell out the big bucks for a Leica M ( at Amazon) rangefinder, you'll find the X-Pro2 a joy to use. It's a very strong performer, though it faces very stiff competition in the premium mirrorless camera space, including our Editors' Choice, the Sony Alpha 6300 ($998.00 at Amazon) . DesignThe X-Pro2 ($1,699.95 at Amazon) is styled after a classic rangefinder camera, complete with a viewfinder placed in the top corner, rather than at the center as you find with mirrorless cameras styled after SLRs. It's finished in black, ...

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 puts an optical viewfinder in a slim mirrorless design, making it one of the most fun—and capable—cameras on the market.

Quick focus and 8.2fps burst shooting; Large buffer; Unique hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder; Focus selection joystick; Film emulation modes; All-weather build; Dual SD slots; Wi-Fi
