The lens arrived before the allotted time and was priced at a great value; however, the packaging was not impressive for such delicate item.

I am happy with the Lens. Initially there was an issue in registering the product into cannon warranty. But happy with the customer-care of Amazon and sellers, they helped me resolving the issue and get the product registered for two years as mentioned in the site. Body of lens is of good quality.

. I skipped past the cheap plastic body (and now carbon ring? I think?) F/1.8 and landed on this one. After messing with this lens I found the focusing to be too soft, or as others have said, not consistent.
