Well worth my money

First of all I will like to start by saying that these headphones are very light , you don't get tired even after using them for a long period of time , I been using them for mixing and they work pretty well for my taste and the type of music I record, which is mostly instrumental.

Outstanding headphones. Very good price.

For the $100 price point, these cans are the best you can do. They are of excellent build quality, and are almost as good as their big brother the ATH-M50x. I mean REALLY CLOSE. Listening to these headphones is amazing.

Tuned flat, sound is exactly what artist originally recorded; Exactly

Some may not appreciate the tuned down bass

I know these are meant for professionals but I am sure I am not the only audiophile that just wants these for my iPhone music, so for this task both cords are uber long, like ridiculously so. I could listen to my music and jump rope with the extra cord.. Seriously!

"Bessst headphones!"

These headphones are the bessst! They sound flat and accurate. They reproduce sounds very accurately. They sound like my Mackie studio reference monitors. I am very impressed to find headphones of this quality for less than 100 dollars. I am very satisfied with these headphones.

Audio-Technica ATH-M40X Review

The smaller ATH-M40X by Audio-Technica is made ??by the same recipe as the big brother M50?x. They are almost as big and heavy, though not

Full-bodied and potent sound with great dynamics and balance

No remote or microphone on the cord

Beats the M50x hands down

After listening to everything I can get my ears around, I think the M40x's are the best all-around sounding closed back headphones you can buy. (without being filthy rich)

"Great headphones"

I have these headphones for more than two years now and that's my review on them. Design: they're really nice overall. Easily foldable thanks to rotating cans and two cables to choose from.

Price; sound quality; durability; isolation

slightly bright sound (maybe bad for critical mixing

A step up from the rest.

Searching for "The Sound" The world of headphones is a world of endless possibilities. One might think all headphones are simply designed to create 'good sound,' but this could not be further from the truth: there are multiple factors that are considered in the design and construction of headphone...

Great Headphones

I have purchased several pairs of these headphones, not because they have failed me, but because I wanted to get them for my friends. I strongly recommend that anyone looking for a good pair of cans for listening (or even beginning mixing) to get these.
