Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (mid 2011)

Speedy, sexy, slim and swanky. Is there a more desirable laptop at the moment?

Super slim and sexy; Incredible build quality; Surprisingly speedy; ThunderBolt port has many possibilities

It's pricey; Limited connectivity out the box; No SD card reader

Apple MacBook Air 11in (2012) review

Perfection improved, and still one of the few options if you want an 11in ultra-portable laptop

Review: Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (2011)

For the first time, Apple's entry-level notebook might just be one of its most compelling offerings.

Apple MacBook Air 11 (2011)

Last October, Apple's 11-inch MacBook Air debuted. The tiny, slim ultraportable was the smallest laptop Apple had ever made. Its combination of size and power earned it a four-star review, with caveats: it had a last-generation Core 2 Duo processor, lacked a backlit keyboard and omitted an SD card...

Dramatically faster than last year's version; Backlit keyboard; High-speed Thunderbolt I/O port

Entry-level Air still has the same limited fixed flash storage and RAM as last year's version; Still no SD card slot; Ethernet port or 3G wireless option

The Macbook Air from Apple is a perfect notebook for people who are in search of a powerful yet ultra-portable computer. This 11 inches notebook is dominated by a compact body but holds a power horse of a performer within.

Good processor; thin and portable design

Average battery; high price
