Great Product!

It was time to upgrade from my old, slow PC. After researching for about a month in attempt to find the best buy/most cost effective computer, I landed on this Mac. I was a bit skeptical about switching from PC to Mac, but the transition has been a breeze.

Battery life; Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Fast; Lightweight; Portable

Macbook Pro 13 Retina vs. new Air 11

These reviews really helped me when I was figuring out what to buy, so here are my two cents. I couldn't figure out if I wanted the Pro Retina or the Air, and I wasn't sure if I wanted 13 in. or 11 in.

All around quality laptop

I love this laptop, if you're like me I was torn between going with a laptop or a tablet i really like the portability of my girlfriends tablet but miss everything else that comes with having a laptop.

battery life; the keyboard; ease of use/setup; lightweight and portable

poor screen quality when not looking straight on

Very happy with purchase

Great computer, compact, light weight, excellent screen, great keyboard, wonderful track pad and quite fast. Its only moving parts are the keys on the keyboard, and they light up for easy viewing in dim light.

I hesitated weeks between the MBA 11", MBA 13" and MBP Retina 13" … but I kept going back to this. And it's everything I hoped it will be.

Beautifully built and solid performance in every aspect. If price is not a consideration, everyone would want an Apple.

Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (Mid 2013)

For the amount you're paying many will ask why there isn't a HDMI port or an Ethernet port or why Apple hasn't upgraded the screens resolution. In short the Apple MacBook Air is all about style and incorporates the minimal performance for such a price.

Great battery life; Thin; Lightweight; Comfortable multi-touch trackpad; Backlit keyboard

No SD card slot; No Ethernet port; No HDMI port

Apple MacBook Air 11in (mid-2012) review

If you don't need quad-core processing power, but still require a stable, comfortable keyboard to do your writing, this year's refreshed Apple MacBook Air 11in (which starts at £849) might be the chariot you're looking for.

Thin and light; Speedy enough with an Ivy Bridge CPU; Nicely bright screen; Smart multi-touch trackpad

Only middling battery life; No SD card slot; or HDMI/Ethernet

Apple MacBook Air 11-inch (2011) review

You don't have to love Apple, or even like it, to have a deep appreciation for the new generation of MacBook Air. The two models, of 13- and 11-inches, are the most visually impressive and delightful laptops on the market.

Beautiful; sturdy; powerful; light; great battery

11-inch is a little too small; no SD card slot; limited ports; gestures can be irksome; OS X isn't as perfect as Apple thinks
